The I-Color-U ink series from 3 Oysters is designed to represent some of the beauty of the South Korean capital city, Seoul.
Each ink comes in 3 Oysters' characteristic 38ml glass ink bottle. Each bottle features a sheared corner which enables the bottle to stand on its side. It's surprising sturdy and enables the ink to pool when you're running low giving you an easy refill or dip even when there's not much left!
This range includes 10 lovely colours inspired by different elements of Seoul. They are:
Bukhansan: Mount Bukhansan is the highest mountain within the boundaries of Seoul. It inspired this ink and is a lovely orange colour.
Dancheong: A vivid red designed to represent health and peace.
Doldam: Many of the ancient buildings and structures within Seoul were constructed from granite, which is a lovely grey colour, just like this ink!
Haneul: This light blue is reminiscent of the beautiful autumn skies of Seoul.
Hangangmul: This dark blue-black ink was inspired by the Han River which runs through Seoul.
Hwangto: This lovely orange ink is reminiscent of the colour of the soil used to construct the wall of flowers in the King's palace.
Giwa: The traditional roofing tiles of Seoul were dark green/grey in colour. So is this ink!
Gyeoul Haneul: Inspired by the picturesque winter landscapes that grace the Korean capital. This ink is turquoise in colour.
Namsan: This rich green is inspired by the pine trees found by Namsan tower.
All inks are water-based and PH neutral making them perfect for writing, drawing or for your artwork.
