This is a superb ballpoint pen. The look is classy and elegant and the feel is solid. It's not a small pen and has some heft to it - but I find the balance to be perfect and love the way it sits in my hand. The ink cartridge that it came with is great for ballpoint - starts immediately and never skips. I have a number of fine pens - both ballpoint and fountain - and this one is in the class of Montblanc and Pelikan and Cross etc.This is not an inexpensive pen by any means but consider that it will last a lifetime - then you can pass it on to your offspring or grandkids - and it's a pretty good value!
