like how light it is-i can move it myself. but for my one duck - it's just a little too small by the time i put a dish pan with water in it for his swimming pool and a stand up standard size small feeder. otherwise really like it. i with it was designed with some type of metal guard that could be poked at least maybe a foot deep into the ground to keep predator that might dig down under to get at my bird stopped in their tracks. i suggest a bar - with steel poles close together and have that on steel bar & then include predrilled holes on the bottom of the base of the cage to screen the cage on top of after you push the base into the ground.I thought this was a wood product but it's plastic. That's a big plus because I can hose around it without worrying about rotting.I purchased the large pen for 4 baby chics and their mom as a day run inside my coop run for the flock.I also put a little nest box, food and water in it.I took away 1 star because 2 of the specialized screws were wonky. Also, the chicken wire that's in the panel seems like it could be more taught. However, this has been a great purchase and I would buy it again if I had the need.Assembl was easy.Overall this is a nice pen and seems reasonably solid for what it is. It assembles very easily and attaches directly to the ecoFlex Fontana Barn, or can be used separately.I wish it had a hinged top panel for easy access, but I knew it didn't ahead of time. I'll have to add some hinges. The other thing I will do is put some sort of roof panel on it. I think if a large animal got on top they may go through the mesh. I also prefer to keep my run dry and give the birds some shade.UPDATE: I added pics of the hinges and latch I installedNot A+ quality, but it is easy to put together and move around. The wire on the cage is very thin and breaks/tears easily when handling. The cage is plastic, not wood, and the quality is ok. Not a 5 star product, but definitely not a 1 star product either.Used this in my big coop to introduce my new chicks to my existing flock. It was confusing to put together. I never got it together just right but I made it work. I did have to put something on top just in case a chicken jumped up. Not sure how sturdy the mesh wire would have held upEasy to assemble. You can easily remove the top to clean it out.I wanted to use this chicken coop for 4 chickens. After getting it and putting it together, I realized it’s really only for two chickens. Very nice coupe if you’re only wanting to have a couple chickensPurchased 8 years ago. Not very sturdy but with zip ties my husband has kept it together. Best feature to me is that it holds up in the weather (Hawaii) and is light weight and easy to move around. I've had chickens and rabbits in it. I am purchasing another one for my new chicks.
