Good Product, however, not waterproof. I bought 2 and one broke due to someone unaware of this placed it in water, totally user error. Would recommend.Product works fine but there's a few things you should know. You need to buy ph calibration solution, conductivity solution and cleaner to go with it. I only got the ph calibration solution when I got mine. Only found out then that I would need more. Didn't get the cloth to clean the probe with it either. I paid almost $250 for the two pens back in 2020 and now they only cost like $80 apiece!! I wish you would send me another one free. I know I'm going to end up buying another one.Paid $150 for these pens, i expected them to work for the price of them however they worked liked $1 pens. I even ordered the proper blue lab solution of 7.0 and 4.0 all i get is a error message. While in the solution the Ph pen is 2 points off in both solutions. The ppm pen doesn't calibrate either in the ppm solution it also reads at least a few hundred ppms off. I wish my local stores sold these pens so i wouldn't be hoodwinked by online sellers. With that being said i love amazon but not this seller! i have requested a full refund or replacement item i will update later on the details.update TODAY IS 1/20/14 I REPEAT DONT NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF COMPLETELY I MEAN COMPLETELY THERE PRODUCTS ARE DEFECTED AND THEY WONT EVEN REPLACE THE ITEM ON TIME IVE BEEN WAITING TWO WEEK FOR A REPLACEMENT EVEN CALLED AMAZON CUSTOMER SERIVICE THEY ARE NO HELP I WILL BE REPORTING THIS SELLER TO THE BBB FOR SCAMS AND WILL BE NEVER NEVER ORDER FROM A THIRD PARTY SELLER ONLY ORDER FROM AMAZON YOUVE BEEN WAREND!!!!!!!!!!!!Both these pens have been performing great so far. Easy to calibrate and readings are accurate.I was disapointed in this product. it does not seem to be working right. I am always having to re calibrate the Pens.I think these are just old or faulty products. Blue Lab is a great product just not for this instance. I would have to say also that I am sure that this seller was more than likely not at fault with my issue.I've used them all. Make sure you buy the calibration kit with this set, and actually read the directions. This set is the best money can buy in my opinion. My plants thank you, I thank you, My kids thank you,and the electric company thanks you,....now we can all enjoy life without worry.Ph pen will not calibrate, took it out of the package and followed instructions and still won't calibrate. I own other more expensive blue lab products and I've never had a problem the 3 years I've used it. But this one was defective.
